Case Study Private client – Marlow

The Client:

Private client - Marlow

Budget

£800k

The Job:

Dilapidation, extension and refurbishment of a riverside Grade 2 listed house

What we did:

We developed a set of plans the client was happy with, taking a disjointed and out-of-date layout to create a modern open plan living environment with 5 bedrooms and ensuites, 150qm kitchen and living space plus an integrated annexe – creating a fabulous family home without sacrificing the legacy of this beautiful building. We worked with Heritage England and local planners to get planning permission for the renovation and extension, costed the project and worked with suppliers from across the country to source materials sympathetic to the building. After we carried out extensive dilapidation and demolition works, we followed this with a comprehensive high-quality refurbishment replete with bronze casement windows, floating staircases, the rebuilding and copying of historic chimneys, an orangery and a breathtaking riverside garden.
