Channel 4 News Leeds
As part of their commitment to serve audiences from all over the UK, Channel 4 News has become the first British network broadcaster to present the news from two regular locations in London and Leeds. The launch of the Channel 4 News Leeds operation has been one of the most high profile moves in the media sector in recent years and East On Projects were delighted to be awarded the project to design and build the studios at Brewery Wharf.
Delivered through East On’s Media Solutions arm, this project follows on from their recent successful installations for ITN and ITV News, establishing East On Media Solutions as the industry’s leading providers of bespoke audio visual and studio solutions.
The Leeds project is being led by Darryl Easton, East On Projects’ Managing Director, with Josephine Ogunbiyi as Project Manager. Darryl says, “Our team has worked tirelessly in the broadcast sector to generate simple but effective solutions for our partners. Collaborating on such an era-defining project as this is a significant step and we can’t wait to share the results.”
