The team has been out in force in the last week, what with MPTS and Clerkenwell Design Week.
Because we straddle so many business sectors, you could be forgiven for thinking that broadcast technology and furniture design had nothing in common but of course the key thread binding them together is good old creativity. We often comment on this but it still bears repeating that the UK leads the world in the design and creative sectors, from award-winning TV shows and Hollywood films to innovation in furniture design and workspaces.
So what to say about CDW? Well, it never disappoints, and this year’s event was as inspirational as ever!
Our highlights were the Nowy Styl/Kusch & Co and Senator events. Such great uses of existing showrooms – we visit by day with clients or to receive updates from our contacts about the latest designs and then at night these spaces transform into great party venues! What’s not to like? We were even treated to a DJ set from Rylan at the Senator CDW party…
But of course, there is more to this than simply partying; we are very aware that we are often only as good as our suppliers, so it’s all about the relationships we hold with them. And sometimes, that’s about us all letting our hair down and kicking back.
So now it’s back to the day job of design and build but we’re already looking forward to next year!
