Spotlight on a supplier – Nowy Styl

Recently, we were invited to Nowy Styl’s showroom in the heart of London’s design and architecture district, Clerkenwell. With products available in 100 countries and offices in 18 European and Middle Eastern offices, Nowy Styl is one of Europe’s leading furniture manufacturers and after our time there, we can see why.
Our visit was hosted by Nowy Styl’s Sales Director, Stephen McCue, who presented the history of the business, (founded by two brothers in Poland just over 30 years ago) and discussed the scale of their production facilities where technology meets sustainability. And of course, we were given a full tour of the showroom and got to see much of their range for ourselves- as well as holding our quarterly sales meeting in their incredibly stylish boardroom.
The focus is very much on melding form and function, with fabulous cutting-edge designs that subtly make office life so much more efficient, not to say comfortable, for colleagues. The sheer breadth of the range of furniture was remarkable but we were very impressed with the Xilium range of chairs which offers innovative, ergonomic solutions, supports and activates movement (even when seated) and allows users to sit in their favourite positions.
Equally impressive was the eModel 2.0 sit-stand desk range, with electric height adjustment which enables the performance of everyday tasks in sitting and standing positions.
With many businesses offering hybrid working, we have seen a trend for offices to adopt a softer, more residential feel, so it was a highlight of the day to see how the modular Tapa range of pouffes can be used in many differing configurations and arrangements to provide breakout or reception areas, serving as seats or handy tables which rotate to provide flexible solutions and functionality.
