East On at the Broadcast Awards
The East On team were delighted to attend the recent Broadcast Awards held at London’s Grosvenor House. Celebrating all that is great about the UK’s broadcast and production industries, these awards are now in their 30th year and recipients ranged from the team behind Gavin and Stacey winning the inaugural Hall of Fame award to the best UK Post Production house, Envy winning this category.
The highlight of the evening was the double win for ITV’s Mr Bates vs the Post Office which saw a standing ovation for Jo Hamilton, one of the postmistresses featured in the record-breaking drama, accepting the Special Recognition award.
